Midland Holiday Park is the perfect place for accommodation when visiting Lake Nillahcootie. Lake Nillahcootie provides the best boating and fishing combined with all types of water sports in the area and is just four kilometres down the road. During the winter, Mt. Buller can be reached in around 45 minutes. This area also boasts a local cinema, local farmers markets, restaurants, taverns and various vineyards and wineries. Mt Samaria provides bush walking, bird watching and scenic drives. Many happy trails can be found in the nearby Strathbogie Ranges, also popular for bush walking and horse riding.
